A seminar on the Ghazali Model of Islamic psychology. We will learn about the nafs, ruh, aql and other elements of Islamic spirituality as they relate to psychological and emotional wellness. The seminar will include practical tools for psycho-spiritual health.

Speaker Bio: Dr. Rania Awaad is a medical doctor specialized in Psychiatry, practicing at both Stanford Medical Center and El Camino Women's Group. In addition to her work as the Clinical Director at Khalil Center Bay Area, Dr. Awaad serves as a faculty member at both Stanford University and Zaytuna College. She directs the Stanford Muslims and Mental Health Lab and is also the Director of the Rahmah Foundation for women's Islamic scholarship and mentorship.
