Join us for a morning of hiking in the Santa Cruz Mountains capped off by a lazy afternoon swim in the famous Garden of Eden.
This fun-filled adventure to one of the best swimming holes in Northern CA will feature beach lounging, swimming, tubing, drinks
and a tasty picnic lunch. The Garden of Eden is a perfect summer day adventure and a must see!
The Garden of Eden is one of Northern CA's best secret swimming holes. Hidden along a strip of glorious redwoods, GOE is an idyllic paradise to cool off after a morning hike through the redwoods on a hot summer day.
What to Expect:
After a late morning, 5-7 mile mild hike through the redwoods of the Santa Cruz Mountains, we will caravan over to Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. A steep, 20 min hike (half of which is along a railroad track) through the forest leads us down to the San Lorenzo River and the Garden of Eden. We will explore along the river until we find our own piece of beach paradise and a nice swimming hole, then set up for a fun-filled afternoon on the beach and river swimming/tubing and eating a delicious picnic lunch.
