Learn how to build your own frames for structure and decoration. This workshop will give you the basics in wood joinery and how to create your own professional frames. Day one will be spent going over options for how best to showcase specific types of work. Bring your notebook and lots of questions to get the most out of the demonstration. Day two, students will actually build a frame from scratch! This two day weekend workshop is information packed so be prepared to learn, make and have fun.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
There is no ID or minimum age requirements. We do ask that if attendees are under 18, their parents sign a waiver of liability and parents can certainly attend with their younger children.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Visual Philosophy has a parking lot available to attendees as well as a $7 all day parking lot less than a block away. HWY 280, 87 and Diridon Caltrain station are very close.
What can I bring into the event?
Attendees are encouraged to bring snacks and/or dinner as this course is in the evening. There is a cafe nearby which has a range of food and drink options as well. You can also bring a camera to take pictures and record the class for review later or posting to social media!

What's the refund policy?
By purchasing a course or workshop, you are obligated to provide payment in full prior to the start date. Courses and workshops may be cancelled 5 days in advance with money returned. Course and workshop tuition purchased but not completed in full or by the start of course can not be refunded.
