Workshop description:
Participants will use a variety of textiles as inspiration to create a textile collage. With the guidance of the instructor, Heather Deyling, participants will learn to translate their designs into drawings while exploring various techniques with a variety of drawing materials. Students will have the opportunity to create a design on fabric in response to their collaged compositions. The workshop will help students conquer fears about drawing and make the practice of drawing more accessible and enjoyable.
