FOOD, WINE, AND MUSIC SELECTIONS:
First Course — “Insalata di Barbabietole e Rucola” | Wine Pairing — Pinot Grigio
Carpaccio of red and yellow baby beets, organic baby arugula, celery root, shaved ricotta salata, white truffle-lemon vinaigrette.
Musical selection: «Caprice No. 19 in E-Flat Major» by Niccolò Paganini
Second Course — “Pollo Strascicato al Funghetto” | Wine Pairing — Super Tuscan
Braised airline chicken breast with mixed mushrooms and roasted tomatoes, served over risotto Milanese. Vegetarian option available upon request.
Musical selection: «Vissi d'arte» from Tosca by Giacomo Puccini
Third Course — “Panna Cotta di Cioccolato con Ciliege” | Wine Pairing — Nebbiolo
Chocolate panna cotta with Port and balsamic-glazed cherries.
Musical selection: «Le grand tango» for cello and piano by Astor Piazzolla
Each course will be paired with a musical selection performed by a local artist. Before each course is served, you will be asked to «taste» the music by itself. Guests will be given blindfolds (or asked to close their eyes) to experience the music using only their sense of sound.
Once the course is served you will have the chance to re-experience the music using all of your senses. This is just part of what makes the Five Senses Tastings experience so unique!
