The Santa Clara County Rapid Response Network is growing! Join our collaborative and partners on Wednesday, June 28th for a training and learn how you act in solidarity with immigrant families in our county.
The Rapid Response Network in Santa Clara County is a community defense project that aims to protect immigrant families from deportation, and to provide them with moral and accompaniment support.
WED. June 28, 5:30-8:00pm,
1425 Springer Rd, Mountain View
During this training you will learn how to document and monitor ICE officials during raids in real-time. The Rapid Response Training will cover:
* How the Santa Clara County Rapid Response Network functions
* Community-led Defense
* How to do legal observation and documentation during ICE operations
* How to provide moral and accompaniment support for detained families
* And most importantly about the role YOU can play!
THE LINE IS NOW LIVE IN SAN JOSE, but we need your help to launch across Santa Clara County! We will be able to do it as soon as we have enough trained rapid responders in North and South County trained. Help us spread the word, and make a statement that immigrant families in our county are NOT ALONE!
This training is being led by Pangea Legal Services, Sacred Heart Community Service and PACT. While the training is catered to allies of immigrant families, community members impacted are also encouraged to attend!
