Due to the overwhelming success and growing popularity of the Startup Award we decided to dedicate a new signature event to honor successful and innovative German-American startups.
Our mission is to bring together the German-American startup community, top entrepreneurs, decision makers, investors and startup founders under one roof.
The GABA Rising Stars Award provides an annual spotlight on German American startups. It is free to enter, free to win and will be judged by VCs and industry peers. All finalists will be invited to the event and have the opportunity to pitch in front of the audience and a high profile jury. At the award ceremony, we will recognize and celebrate the most compelling startups, internet, and technology innovations of the year.
Startup of the Year
Requirements for Startups:
— Less than 10 years in business
— German company with subsidiary in the US or US company
founded by a German
— Successful can mean: name recognition, external funding, market
success, substantial revenues, innovative/technology background
— Application/Nomination deadline is June 30th, 2017

The jury will consider all entries and select the most promising applicants to demo at the award event.
The Startup of the Year as well as the Newcomer Award will be chosen by the jury and the Audience Award will be determined by the event attendees in real time.
Early Bird until June 15th, 2017: $79.00 members and $95.00 for non-members.
After June 15th, 2017: $99 members and $120.00 for non-members.

VALET PARKING: $20.00
We offer limited valet parking at the venue, which must be purchased with your ticket. Please bring a print out of your ticket and parking pass to the event. Without proof of purchase we won't be able to grant a parking space.
SHUTTLE BUS TO AND FROM SF: $10.00
Board the shuttle at Caltrain Station (4th St & King St) in San Francisco at 4:00pm and arrive to the winery stress free. The bus returns to Caltrain Station at the end of the evening (9pm).
