We're doing two popups this June (1st & last Friday) at Santa Cruz Mountain Brewing. We're excited to bring to the Westside two of our most popular menu items: our new mole nachos and our signature cactus & kale salad.
Mole nachos are served on a bed our of handmade tortilla chips with your choice of shredded chicken and/or roasted veggies and topped with our signature mole sauce & our new mole queso sauce, and garnished with diced fresh tomatoes & pickled jalapeño. Our cactus & kale salad (its recipe was published last summer in Edible Monterey Bay) is a must-try!
What is mole? One way to think of it is the Mexican version of a curry made with a variety of nuts, seeds, and spices. Many people know mole as a chocolate sauce, but cacao is one of the many ingredients found in some moles. Our mole has 25 ingredients!
