Renowned National Geographic photographer Pete McBride shares his adventures across some of the American West’s most breathtaking terrain—including his 800-mile hike from end to end of the Grand Canyon. Together with Stanford historian David Kennedy, McBride discusses the ways that the grandeur and challenges of open spaces like the Colorado River Delta have helped shape our vision of the American West. This event precedes a screening with live score of Murat Eyuboglu's The Colorado—tickets for that screening can be purchased here: goo.gl/xAYdLI
